Cutting Room Floor - UI Part 1

Here is the first part in what I predict will be an ongoing series of shots where UI was in the way for whatever reason. This set is pretty all-ages, some* blood and a bit of blunt force trauma aside.

*okay, it's not just some, but it's not a gushing wound or a head exploding or something, it's just a big smear.

Bloodborne (From Software, 2015) - Liked the effects on this one. Too bad this game doesn't come with Photo Mode! Taken automatically due to Trophy unlock.

Life Is Strange Episode 2: Out Of Time (DONTNOD, 2015) - Unsure if Rancid reference or sheer coincidence.
"And the unfortunate get preyed upon by vulture's eyes/86 cents in these pockets of mine."

Life Is Strange Episode 3: Chaos Theory - Chloe after a fight with her mother.

Same as above - DONTNOD brings out big decisions that rival those of Mass Effect. For the record, I went with pancakes because I went with the bacon last time around in Episode 2.

Same as above - A little hard to see in the thumbnail, but this one reminds me of the time I dressed up a skeleton in a life drawing class, and someone put a cigarette in his mouth.

Sunset Overdrive (Insomniac Games, 2014) - I'll bet that left a mark.

Same as above - From a Chaos Squad match in the Fizzco Robotics Factory. Chaos Squad has players completing various missions. In this case, a boss fight.

Same as above - A mini-nuke goes off as the result of the Twist Of Fate Amp. Amps are equipable powerups for weapons. The word "BOOM" will appear at the cloud's apex. This shot's from Night Defense, the conclusion of every Chaos Squad match.
The following were the result of me just plain forgetting to hit X to hide the Photo Mode UI in The Last Of Us Remastered. Derp.

Hard to time right with Photo Mode, but you can definitely feel the impacts of melee combat in this game.

First try at getting a shot of Joel and Ellie arriving in Jackson County.

Joel and Ellie at the University of Eastern Colorado.
I'm sure there will be more of these in the future.
